Yorkshire 2012

17th May 2012

The Plan

Arrive Thursday night and cave Friday to Sunday. We have 15 places booked at the YSS. Food will be do it yourself or pub unless there is a call for an evening curry or stew one night.

The main idea of the trip is to get those who are competant on SRT using it underground and to get some more Yorkshire caving done. With this in mind the trips will be done on SRT unless there is a strong contingent who want to use ladders / do a trip unsuitable for SRT. People will need to bring their own SRT kit.

The idea is to split into groups depending on ability, riggers etc and swap around on the second day so that everyone gets a go at both trips. Sunday we will make up as we go along depending on who is staying.

The trips suggested so far are:

- Alum Pot/Long Churn. Rig a variety of routes depending on the abilities of the group and the rope available.

- Bull Pot, Kingsdale

- Sell Gill

- Tatham Wife

- Sunset Hole

Before we head up to the Dales I would like to know:

- Who has what rope they can bring along

-Who wants to be on what trip
**This is so that tackle and transport can be sorted in advance and we can get going at a sensible time.
