Otter Hole

27th May

We have been offered a cross tide trip
Leaving at 07.30

The trip is limited to 5 people so demand is expected to exceed supply. To keep it fair names will be drawn from a hat.

Mushroom will be administering the draw so email him at if you want your name included.

Before you put your name down please make sure that you are fit and able to complete the trip. Otter Hole is not a technically difficult cave but it is physically demanding in places and you will be underground for about 10 - 12 hours. If you struggle in the entrance series the trip will be aborted for all. If you find yourself tired after the sump you may have to wait several hours before being able to exit the cave.

Thats the doom and gloom bit, Otter Hole rightly has the reputation of being one of the best decorated caves in the UK and is well worth the hard work. A few photos from the 2010 trip are in the club galleries.
